Motion Graphic

This project is a lyric video created as part of an After Effects course, based on a comedy sketch from the show “The Parliament”, The goal was to translate spoken humor into motion by using typography, timing, and animation to amplify the joke rather than distract from it

Made by minimalist motion design and storytelling to focus on the power of kinetic typography. the animation creates a sense of intimacy and vintage sense, transforming a dialogue into a visual experience. The use of negative space ensures that the viewer’s focus remains entirely on the timing and weight of the words as they appear on screen

The timing of the text is designed to mimic the natural cadence of speech. By syncing the appearance of the characters with a specific rhythm, the typography ceases to be just “letters on a screen” and instead takes on a vocal personality, creating an intimate connection between the viewer and the dialogue
